The idea involves the creation and management of state-of-the-art buoy fields in two separate maritime demesne areas. The main objective is to address the issue of environmental sustainability through new and innovative systems, in order to make the use of these areas more enjoyable and ensure the preservation of the marine environment. This includes the protection of Posidonia seagrass meadows, seabeds, marine biological resources, and the safeguarding of sensitive species, thus contributing to the protection of the entire bay. The Contest
Golfo Aranci, with its marine and terrestrial territory, offers an extraordinary opportunity for project development. It is a magnificent bay located in the northeast part of Sardinia, with unique coastlines, the islet of Figarolo, and the enchanting Cala Moresca Spiaggia Bianca, and Cala Sassari, just to name a few. On one side, it is situated a short distance from the Island of Tavolara, providing a splendid view from the Gulf, while on the other side lie the Island of Mortorio and the bay of Porto Rotondo, extending to the borders of the Costa Smeralda.
The special characteristics of this territory allow us to offer an excellent combination to meet needs through both onshore and offshore services. A fundamental element for the project’s development is the opportunity derived from the presence of an active inhabited center for twelve months a year, ensuring the provision of necessary services for users.
This bay, year after year, attracts an increasingly growing number of boaters, and in the absence of specific regulations, unregulated anchoring, which is extremely harmful to the marine ecosystem, poses a strong threat. Moreover, this situation creates inconveniences, such as the unauthorized discharge of blackwater from boats in the anchorage, which affects bathing activities and the use of beaches.
